24x60 Reese Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
The rack is much bigger than my previous one. I was disappointed that it was made in China instead of the USA. It assembled very easily and the light kit works very well. The only draw back is I can no longer open my tailgate with the rack installed due to the spare tire hitting the raised rack.
Easy to assemble. Karen was very helpful in the ordering process. Thank you

19x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Aluminum - Folding - 500 lbs
Purchased this 1 year ago. Worked awesome for a 9.000 mile cross country trip with three off road adventures at geology tour road Joshua tree, west side road Death Valley, and kingman wash lake mead. No rattle, always secure, great clearance. Would purchase again.
Excellent cargo toter. Used on 2 vacations last summer, Iowa to Tennessee and Iowa to Florida. Carried 72 quarts and 52 quarts coolers loaded with food and other assorted cargo. Used existing holes provided for ratchet straps, no problems. 5 adult passengers in our ‘17 F150, bed full of cargo and the toter loaded with food, carried the load well. Excellent trips!

32x48 Reese Solo Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 400 lbs
I received the package in a pretty rough exterior condition but everything was fine inside. The previous comments about having to cut away the expanded metal flooring in order to install the carriage bolts wasn't true in my case. Apparently, this quality control issue has been addressed by the manufacturer. Assembly went well and wasn't complicated. A different carriage bolt with a longer square shoulder should be used. The shoulder doesn't grip too well to the square cutout in the frame and even while pressing firmly on the head of the bolt, it wanted to turn as I was tightening the nut. All in all, it seems to be a solid product and I look forward to using it.
I only gave an average rating because the carrier was not easy to assemble without slight modification. The bolt holes for assembly were blocked by the steel mesh. I cut the mesh that covered several of the holes with a rotary disc cutter.

20x59 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - Folding - 500 lbs
Bought for my 2020 XC 40. I’ve taking it on several long distance hauls and it’s frees up a lot of space inside the car. I love that you can open the trunk and get items while having the carrier on. The car handles very well with is on. However I would suggest you buy a hitch stabilizer to stop rattling it make the car a carrier act as one. It folds up when not in use so nothing sticking out when not in use.
Great design and sturdy. I got two hitch pin stabilizers for hitch and folding pin and it worked awesome. I use it for storage for cab over camper and the carrier fits flush with open tailgate. Carries generator water fire wood and I use it as a step to get into the camper.

Yakima LoadWarrior Roof Rack Cargo Basket - Steel - 44" Long x 39" Wide
Well done Yakima and etrailer. Great product and great service. The product is well made (in Taiwan....not China) and the parts and instruction video made it relatively" easy to install. Two people helps to install it more readily. The wind diffuser in the front greatly reduces wind noise. All in all very happy and glad I bought through etrailer. Service was excellent and delivery prompt.
3 out of 4 screw attachments linking the two sides of the roof basket together were not installed.

Ultra-Fab Dirt Bike Carrier for 2" Hitches - With Ramp - 77" Long - 500 lbs
I can't say I'm entirely happy with my purchase. The instructions were more confusing than helpful. Note in "instruction.jpg" photo of STEP 1 that the text says to put the 8 small bolts in from the inside first, but the drawing clearly shows them as going in from the outside. The last step says to place the ramp onto the receiver as shown.... glad I didn't throw away the box because there is no drawing that shows ramp installation. Actually, the photo on the box was more helpful than any of the instructions. Also, I need to make a trip to the hardware store to buy longer medium bolts because the ones that came with the carrier were not long enough to fully engage the self locking feature of the nylon lock nuts. At a minimum a couple of threads should protrude beyond the nylon. See photo "nut.jpg". The bolt threads don't reach the end of the nylon, so the self locking feature is not fully engaged. I did tighten the nut, but that was as far as it would go. I think once I get back from the hardware store with the new medium bolts and after I reverse the 8 small bolts (I followed the drawing and not the text of the instructions), I'll be OK with the carrier.
"Instantly Get Rid of Wobble and Upgrade With Lights" This is not a 5 because ramp should be longer & there should be some type stabilizer to temporary hold bike while strapping down, I'd pay more for those upgrades. The wobble can instantly be solved by hooking Tie-Straps closest to vehicle directly to the receiver where you hook your chains, rather than hooking them to the provided holes on carrier itself. You of course use the provided strap holes ones on the opposite side. When strapped down as stated, the carrier now becomes one with the vehicle & @ 80mph there is no wobble. (*TIP: Put ramp back in its place before strapping down or else it won't fit with the strap hooks in the way.) I upgraded mine with lights for both safety reasons & not needing the Police any reason to pull me over. It was very simple and cost me nothing but time & maybe $50. I recommend this product whole heartedly.

Rhino-Rack Roof Mounted Steel Cargo Basket - 57" Long x 42" Wide - 165 lbs
Does what I need it to do. Easy to take on and off as needed. Installed to '21 Outback factory bars. Easily accepted different brand awning hardware.
Love it! It's big enough to fit a bike carrier and a cargo bag on top of my MINI. Easy to assemble and install, solid construction. Great value for your money. If I have a gripe it's that the wind fairing on the front is VERY thin/fragile. I caught it with my bike tire when loading one day and the corner snapped right off like nothing. It's only about $XXX for the replacement.

23x59 Stromberg Carlson Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
Carrier and box will be moved to hitch on 209 Solitude Rv to provide extra cargo carrying ability
A good size and very strong. I like the fact that it has a grated bottom, as opposed to a few bars like many of its competitors. There are many holes and notches present for any customization desired. Also makes for a great chair to relax. I also ordered the anti-rattle pin so as to fasten this tightly to the hitch. IMO that should be included with any of these trailer-hitch-Mount accessories.

24x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
The trailer carrier has been a wonderful blessing since we purchased it. It's sturdy, strong, and easy to store. We used it initially for a trip from Oklahoma to Florida, and everything was transported safely and easily. As I recall, I think someone in Florida asked us about the carrier. We definitely told them to consider buying one. My husband did significant research before the purchase. He DEEPLY appreciates produces that are established with high quality standards. How disappointing and frustrating to buy something and to see it break or deteriorate prematurely because its components were poor and frankly cheap. Thus, the cost was quite reasonable. To date, the carrier continues to serve us. Once you purchase such an item, you may be surprised how practical and useful it truly is. I believe we used it locally when we transported and gave our close friends a refrigerator we weren’t using. We used the carrier last summer on our trip to Michigan with our two large dogs. The dogs rode comfortably with us in our SUV while the luggage rode in the carrier. Wow! Our dogs were certainly grateful for the extra space. My husband also secured two tarps on the Hitch Cargo Carrier Bag for additional protection against the rain. He used several bungie cords that were easy to apply because the carrier has so many places on which to secure the hooks. Nothing was wet or damaged. My extremely gifted and creative husband was able to relocate the license plate so that it would be visible in certain states that require license plate visibility at all times. We are both satisfied with this product. God bless you, and thank you for the one year inquiry! Keep creating products with excellent craftsmanship.
We just installed our carrier. We love that this is going to free up a lot of space for our vacation traveling. Very heavy duty and bigger than i was thinking it would be.The pin that holds the carrier in the hitch was not included. It would have been an added bonus if it was.

Curt Roof Mounted Cargo Basket - 41-1/2" Long x 37" Wide x 4" Deep - 150 lbs
Very durable basket, and fairly easy to install. It's definitely transformed the look and practicality of our little SUV.
I've had this roof basked for a year now, and it has done very well for us so far. I mount this to my 2023 Subaru Outback XT Onyx Edition for when we take family trips that require more gear than will fit in the cargo area. It allows my son to remain comfortable in the back seat (he's a sprawler with gadgets and books on long trips) while making sure that we have all the gear we need. On week-long trips to both Canaan Valley, WV and Lewes Delaware, we were able to strap our cooler and other weatherproof gear into the basket with ease. The mounting system is plenty sturdy, and the basket was able to fit a lot of cargo easily and safely. It didn't retain water in the tubes or connecting pieces after several rain storms, and I haven't seen any evidence of rust so far. I should note that I don't leave it mounted to the car 24/7 because I don't pretend to be some overland fanatic, so it lives in my furnace room (easily supported by aluminum brackets tap-conned into the cinderblock wall) when not in use. This will definitely give it a longer lifespan. I'd definitely buy one again. The size is perfect for my Outback and fits plenty of gear.

Curt Roof Mounted Cargo Basket - 64-1/2" Long x 39" Wide x 7-1/4" Tall - 150 lbs
I only use the roof rack for vacations because they make cars so small on the interior now a days. It handles quite a bit of luggage. Including two big size luggage and two small is how I travel. Make sure to get water proof covers and good straps. I stopped every 3 hours to make sure load was secure and drove over 700 miles without any issues. The rack will make whistle noise because of the wind passing through the bars but I just toned it out and blasted the radio . The product is great and sturdy easy on and easy off. My only complaint is putting on the wind guard. I couldn’t figure it out because the instructions have poor information on the wind plate. Also it took two deliveries to receive the product due to my first delivery being opened/ repackaged and missing parts like keys. I returned it and got the product in a new package with no more issues. Customer service was very helpful also and communication was well organized. Make sure to order well in advance just incase you might have to send the product back because of packaging issues. Also product is easy to store without disassembly of the rack rails. I put it in my garage and it takes up no space. I hope this review helps someone. Thank you
I love the rack and the extended length is great on my Sequoia. I am disappointed with the finish on it as the connector plates are already showing signs of rust….. I like it enough that I’m going to repaint it with something more suited to our climate…

Thule Canyon XT Roof Cargo Basket - Steel - 69" x 40" x 6" - 150 lbs

16x21 TorkLift Lock and Load SideKick Cargo Tray for 2" Hitches - 200 lbs
Just what I was looking for. Wanted to carry a small Honda generator and skinny gas can. I tilted the "Y" shaped security bar away from the vehicle by putting more washer between it and the carrier. That moved the generator enough to fit in the skinny gas can.
Very good quality for different types of generators. Again, I would’ve gave it five stars if it wasn’t for the price. But it is very well quality.
# 15
Nice size, solid. I looked at what it would look like on the front and on the back, and it’s stuck out too far in the front, fits perfect on the back. I had to use the universal brackets instead of the tapped brackets, and it’s still very solid. I got this from my sister on her farm, she is already pleased.
I recently purchased a basket from etrailer, with fast service and reliable shipping I got it on time, The quality of the basket very good and reliable. Thank you for such great service Robert

Yakima MegaWarrior Large Roof Rack Cargo Basket - Steel - 52" Long x 48" Wide
The MegaWarrior is a great Roof Rack. The only thing I didn’t like was the fit to the roof rails. My rails that I purchased from you are shaped like aircraft wings and the basket clamps seem to be designed for round rails. However I was able to complete the attachment and the rack remained secure for a 2,000 mile trip.
bought it for my husband he loves it for 2014 kia Sportage LX reddit regional rails

Perfect sized box for carry sized luggage and softball game day gear. Proven space saver. Receiver is showing signs of rust otherwise would be a ten. Would buy again.
the cargo carrier is good with the exception of the sides not closing / sealing very good. Although I followed the assembly instructions, it seems to develop gaps and leaves in weather and dust / dirt.

Malone Axis Truck Bed and Roof Load Extender Installation - 2013 Chevrolet Silverado
Speaker 1: Today, on our 2013 Chevrolet Silverado, we're going to be taking a look at the Malone Axis Truck Bed and Roof Load Extender, part number MPG907 00:00:10. This truck bed extender is going to give you 53 inches of extension from the center of your hitch pin hole to the edge so you can haul the longest loads such as ladders, lumber, steel tubing, piping, steel beams, rods. You name it, you can put it on here. And, it can hold 500 pounds on the truck bed extender. So, if you figure that across the entire truck bed, you can haul some heavy stuff. Unlike some other truck bed extenders, this one has tall load stops, which are also adjustable, increasing the maximum width of whatever you can haul behind you with a range of 28 inches up to 48 inches. There's plenty of tie down points on the load stops, and you can go underneath the arms.
Viking Solutions Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2013 Chevrolet Silverado
Today in our 2013 Chevrolet Silverado, we'll be taking a look at the Stack Rack Cargo Carrier. That part number is 310-VSR001. We already have it installed on our vehicle, we're gonna take a few measurements then we'll go over some features. First we're going to take an overall measurement here, how much we're adding to our vehicle. It's gonna be about 38 1/2 inches. Our ground clearance is gonna be about 13 1/4 inches and our closest point is going to be about 6 inches away. Now you'll notice that this is a two-level carrier.
MaxxTow Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2013 Chevrolet Silverado
Today on 2013 Chevrolet Silverado we're going to be taking a look at the Maxxtow Cargo Carrier With Ramp, part number MT70100. Now this cargo carrier's going to be perfect for carrying a lawn mower, a scooter, or pretty much anything that has wheels that we may need to carry on the back of our truck. Now the way we're going to fold our ramp down is if we come to the side here, we're going to have a pin and clip on each end. Now if we remove the clip we can go ahead and push the pin out and remove it, and we can remove the other side as well. Once we have both removed we can lower the ramp down, allowing us to load up any of our gear. Now our cargo carrier is going to add quite a bit to the back of our truck, so there are a few measurements I'd like to give you. Our ramp for example is going to come in at roughly, right about 40".
Darby Extend-A-Truck Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2013 Chevrolet Silverado
Today on our 2013 Chevrolet Silverado, we're going to be taking a look at the Darby Hitch Mounted Load Extender, part number DTA944. Now if you've ever hauled with your truck, I'm sure most of us have been in the situation where we either needed to carry a ladder, some lumber, or maybe even some drywall, and for us those that don't have eight-foot beds, and with most of the load sticking out, it is a little bit unsafe and using the extender is going to be able to give you a spot to tie your load down and make everything more secure. On each end of our extender we're going to have one tie-down point. That way no matter what we are carrying, it's going to be able to secure it down. Now here, with the included pin and clip, we can make our adjustments, so if you need your load to be angled down into your bed, you can raise it up, or if you need it at level, you can lower it down to make it level so your load sits how you want it to. Now our extender is going to work with 2-inch hitches, and it does also include the pin and clip for your hitch. Now our extended truck is going to give us 49" of extra load carrying capability. On the end here, we're going to be able to put all of our loads and anything else we need to carry for up to 4-feet wide. Now our extended truck is going to be able to hold and withstand up to 350-pounds of weight.

That's going to help reduce a lot of the play and the movement within our carrier when we're driving down the road. You can see there's not a lot of play in there with that tightened down. Let's grab some measurements.

Erickson Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2008 Chevrolet Silverado
Today, on our 2008 Chevrolet Silverado, we're going to be taking a look at the Erickson Big Bed Junior Load Extender for truck bed or roofs, part number EM07605. Whether we need to transport a ladder, go to the hardware store, pick up some sheets of plywood, or anything else that's longer than 8 feet, you know the headache if you don't have an 8-foot bed truck. That's where our bed extender's going to come into play. It's going to allow us to be able to support our load and carry it securely and have tie-down points so we can get down the road safely. Our truck bed extender is going to allow us from the hitch receiver here and extend out all the way to 48 inches or four feet. Since the tailgate is down, from the tailgate to the end of our extenders, it's going to be right about 33 inches. At the end of our extender here, we're going to have several different holes. Now this is going to be able to adjust the height and how high you need the back end up or how far down.

Darby Extend-A-Truck Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2008 Chevrolet Silverado
Today on our 2008 Chevrolet Silverado, we're doing a test fit of the Darby Extend-A-Truck Hitch Mounted Load Extender, part number DTA944. Now we already have it on our vehicle. With this position, it's going to be great if you are wanting to carry anything on your roof if you have even a roof rack on your truck and want to load up any lumber or PVC or any extended loads there. You can you use the tie-downs on our Extend-A-Truck and just lengthen the length of your truck to accommodate for all the different types of cargo that you may have there. We also have different adjustable points so if you did have a roof rack on your truck, you could lift the Extend-A-Truck part up just a bit to even out that distance. The pin and clip here actually do come with the Extend-A-Truck so you don't have to purchase an extra one for this piece here.

Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2008 Chevrolet Silverado C18150
Today, on our 2008 Chevrolet Silverado, we're doing a test fit of the Curt 20x60 Cargo Carrier. That part number is C18150. Now, this is designed to work with 2-inch hitches and has a weight capacity of 500 pounds. We already have it on our vehicle. The first thing we're going to do is take a few measurements. Our ground clearance is first. We have about 19 3/4 inches of clearance. That's because we do have that raised shank back here in the back which is going to lift the carrier even higher than your hitch. Overall, to the truck, we're adding about 29 1/4 inches. Our closest point is going to be about 8 1/2 inches there. Now, on our truck, we have a single passenger side exhaust. It comes straight out here to the side, so we don't have to worry about being pre-cautious with heat sensitive materials in our carrier. The next thing we'll check is our tailgate. If we drop it down all the way, you can see that we don't make contact anywhere on the carrier. It does hang over just a bit.
What our customers are saying:
"The hitch and the carrier came in much earlier than expected. The cargo carrier assembled in a few minutes. The hitch went on like a glove. I was very satisfied with it's quality. My salesperson was very helpful and made sure that I had the right things. Overall, I was very pleased."
